The Journal of Youth Scientific Research (JYSR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research in science, technology, engineering and mathematics by high school, undergraduate and community college students.
The mission of JYSR is to promote genuine academic research by young scholars across STEM fields. JYSR provides young scholars with the referee process of a professional journal, although with lower associated costs and a more streamlined process. The editorial board is committed to a transparent process at every step, and all manuscripts that pass editorial screening are reviewed by at least one professional referee (PhD-level and beyond) working in a related field. Each submitted manuscript is judged against the same published criteria as any other research paper.
